Preventative Maintenance through fixed-price servicing

To achieve this and make it understandable and affordable to you the customer we offer a number of specdific levels of servicing to achive what your bike requires and your budget.

Keeping your bicycle in good running order makes sure it’s always ready for you to ride. It also prevents surprise failure and potential costly repairs. Most importantly it makes sure your ride is safe to use!

Cycle Hub will always clean bikes prior to service/repair as you can’t work on a dirty bike! When work is complete bikes are all cleaned again before being checked and test ridden before their safe return.

Cycle Hub will only undertake work specified by the customer. This means that, in addition to the upfront price of the service or repair agreed, the only additional costs you will incur will be those agreed with you if they become necessary on inspection. We know you want your bike back as soon as possible so we are happy to contact you by text, email, or telephone to suit you if extra work/parts are needed. We will always keep you informed of costs.

Servicing and repair of suspension systems and disc brakes will be quoted separately as parts may be obsolete or a repair may be costly or not efficent.

All repairs are carried out subject to the condition of the bike and the existing parts fitted to it. All repairs carry a 3 month guarantee on labour and parts – excluding wear/tear/and misuse. 

Children’s bikes and bikes bought from high street stores, internet or mail order are often more expensive to repair than they were to buy, if they can be repaired at all! We will always inform you of the most cost effective way to proceed, even if this means the work does not go ahead. 

All bicycles will be given and final safety check and test ridden before returning to customer, and a full Technical Report produced for you to take away.
